Titanium threaded coil evaporators are commonly used for heating and cooling inside containers. Their working principle involves equal energy transfer between the refrigerant inside the titanium tube and the liquid inside the plastic shell. The coil can be fixed in either detachable or non-detachable ways, depending on the cleanliness and corrosion of the material. However, detachable design is preferred in the design process to facilitate cleaning and maintenance of the coil.

A titanium heat exchanger is a heat transfer device made of high-quality titanium tubes, which transfers part of the heat from a hot fluid to a cold fluid. Leveraging the numerous advantages of commercially pure titanium, titanium heat exchangers are commonly used in the chemical, petroleum, power, food, and many other industrial sectors, playing an important role in production.

The manufacturing process of titanium coil heat exchangers is relatively straightforward, yet determining the mold dimensions is quite cumbersome. For each specification of coil, it requires multiple rounds of trial production to determine the mold dimensions that meet the required coil diameter, which is both material-consuming and time-consuming. If the mold dimensions for the required coil diameter could be quickly determined, it would achieve twice the results with half the effort. Therefore, through experimentation, we aim to identify patterns and derive empirical formulas to assist in the current manufacturing of titanium coil heat exchangers.
